I use shotcut, it's free. There are better ones out there but I'm used to it by now.

Meanwhile, the Hawks were doing the same thing with CJ McCollum, trying to target Jalen Brunson on three straight trips.

The Knicks also switched up their coverage (threw in a double), got CJ to turn the ball over.

A ton of cool strategies down the stretch of this one.

Fun chess match at the end of Hawks/Knicks.

Brunson was trying to get the Okongwu matchup almost every time down. Hawks mixed coverages up very nicely to try and keep him off balance. Sprinkled in hedges, hedge-and-unders, blitzing, switching, hard doubling.

Hawks bench was also brutal. Risacher was rough, might be on ice the rest of the series. They need one more guy to step up (Kispert?)

For now, Hawks have to play their starters huge minutes and are gonna be in trouble if any of them are ever in foul trouble.

Knicks did a great job of cleaning that up in the 2nd half. Way less of two defenders rotating to the same spot. But I also felt like the Hawks let them off the hook a bit by trying to hero ball more instead of waiting for better openings to develop.

Seeing a lot about the Hawks being dead against the Knicks.

There were cracks in the Knicks' defense in the 1st half of G1. Hawks screening actions were causing miscommunication on a ton of switches/rotations. Hawks gotta figure out how to get back to that.

Cool Lakers ATO from last night. LeBron saw that the Rockets had switched into zone, so he called the audible and made sure everyone knew exactly where to go.

The story isn't about Vrabel at all. He's not even mentioned. It's about media needing to be better across the board, both men and women.

Misogynists are taking the wrong lessons from the Dianna Russini story: Women aren't to blame for media issues | Sporting News The Russini allegations should shed a light on the problems in our industry rather than the problems with women in media.

I'm usually a stick to basketball guy, but the conversation around Dianna Russini has made me uncomfortable enough to speak out.

Women shouldn't be taking the brunt of the blame for ethical dilemmas facing sports media. We all need to be much better:

Best player in the NBA poll: 53 votes from media members and league insiders results in dominant winner | Sporting News The Sporting News polled 53 voters comprised of media members and league employees to determine the best player in the NBA this season. Surprisingly, the final results weren't remotely close.

We know who is probably winning MVP. But who is the best player in the league?

I polled a group of 53 media members and team employees asking for their pick. The vote was not as close as I expected:

New for @theathletic.com - The Bulls' biggest problem wasn't any specific transaction -- it was an inability to be honest about where they stood.

Great read here, notes that the Bulls have the best record since the ASG of this group against playoff teams… at 3-15. Just some ugly stuff happening on the court since mid February.

Column: The Jaden Ivey debacle is another embarrassing failure for Artūras Karnišovas and the Chicago Bulls If Artūras Karnišovas can’t vet his trades, why should he be empowered to continue running the Chicago Bulls front office?

As a queer person covering the Bulls, the team’s response to Jaden Ivey's homophobic comments came as a relief.

But the guard’s beliefs — and willingness to vocalize them — were not a surprise.

If Artūras Karnišovas can’t vet his trades, why should he continue running the Bulls front office?
