"...and I love to have fun"
Yes, don't we all though?

In 1.5 hrs, I've got my first job interview, hella anxious about it. I haven't had to interview for a job for 5 years now.
Been using Duolingo for about 2 weeks now, and I'm really enjoying it. More than I thought I would.
Nvidia needs to come out with a new Shield. Love this thing, but since I've started making Android TV apps, I'm finding the older OS restricts what all I can accomplish.
Great device, and nothing quite does what it does, but a newer SDK and AV1 hardware decoding would go a long way.
Does anyone know of a Zigbee, Z-Wave, or WiFi device like this, but with USB 3.x speeds instead of 2.0?
Dyslexia makes this a nightmare sometimes, and then sometimes the auto fill suggestions remember the wrong spelling, and that makes it even more confusing.
But I'm really enjoying learning French so far.
I want him to speak in grunts and hya! Like, Ocarina of Time style. But I love link as a silent protagonist, and have been kinda hoping they can make it work. I'm not wise enough to know how the fuck you pull that off, but if they did, I'd be hella impressed.
I kinda miss 3D stuff being the norm. I know it's like an every 30 years kinda thing, but I miss having a 3D TV and gaming in 3D. I love my current TV, and I wouldn't swap them out, but it'd be nice to have a decent OLED 4k 3D TV that doesn't cost over a thousand.
Is it okay to curse during an interview? Like, can I say their website is dog shit?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was exactly that. But it'd be neat if they do something clever like with Kingdom Hearts.
If they wanted to make a movie, the shattered grid arc in the comic would make a really great one. RIP best green ranger ever though. Probably should go with a younger cast for a project like that though.
Comics were fire though.
That looks pretty good ngl. I really need to start cooking again.
I think this might be the finished version, but the config files might need to be played around with, gonna try to find some folks to play one-shot sessions with randomly rolled characters to see how balance is in the balanced setting.
Here's my finalized (for now) DnD 5e character creator. I think it's pretty cool, give it a spin and lmk whatcha think.
Started this project over a year ago as a way of helping teach someone python, tonight I just vibe coded the final features I wanted.
Enjoy ๐

Figured out spellbooks! On a roll tonight! But I think I'm done lol
I had nothing better to do, so now I have a config file where I can play around with party balance. I think it'll probably need play-testing to refine, so I might be hitting up the local game shops and see if anyone is down to experiment.
Maybe I'll do a spellbook generator next...
Finished my DnD character generator. I made it so you can roll up characters in batches, so like, if you wanted a party of level 5 wizards, you can do that in a single command.
I'm thinking about writing something that would try and put together a balanced party for one-shots.
Ambitious tho...
Anyone else find themselves dressing more formally when you've been neglecting the laundry a little too long? ๐คช
Oh yeah, I kill the account's access as soon as it's done with the project I'm working on. So far, I've been working on a way to sync two TVs to the same rtsp stream, and vibe coded the coordinator. Gave access to install apps and check logs on Android TV, and it can troubleshoot (kinda) sync issues
I was paying $300/mo + a $60/mo tobacco surcharge for the past 4.5yrz. Every time I needed to refill meds, I had to have my doctors talk to the pharmacy talk to insurance for 3 weeks, typically causing a lapse in medication.
Now, literally no complications, and the meds are free.
My mind is blown.
I've been on private health insurance my entire life, I'm on Medicaid for the first time, and so far my experience has been so much better. My meds are free, and normally it's a pretty big bill because my health isn't the best.
I don't understand how free health insurance is this much better.
Umm... why?
Oh for sure, I'd never trust in in prod, but just messing with it on my own hardware within my house I'm pretty fine letting it do its thing for now.
I remember a presentation in middle school where we had different drug addicts come in and tell us about their struggles. The one who was on steroids describe his experience with not knowing if it was him or the drugs that people were cheering for.
I kinda feel that way about vibe coding.
Hate to say it, but GitHub Autopilot preview in VS Code is pretty impressive. It can do deploys, remote installs, read logs from multiple clients, troubleshoot. I mean, this is a vibe coded project for giggles, so I'm not checking the work, the results have been hit or miss, but it's fun to watch.
Upon further testing, my sync player is defective, it'll start in sync, drift apart, over correct, get back into sync then idk, it's all over the place. Thought I had this solved last night, but now that I can crank the volume more, the delay is noticeable.
I can officially cast video to all of my TVs at the same time.
This was far simpler in the 90s, I remember just getting a cheap antenna amplifier and and RF modulator, and feeding the same videogame to all the TVs on channel 3 lol. That was far simpler and admittedly faster, but ATSC modulators are expensive, I've done this with a weekend and $50.
One thing that's kinda bothersome, is that I need to either be okay with the lag on my phone via HomeAssistant, or figure out how to get that feed synced up as well as the Shields. But I'm okay with just muting my phone's feed, and having a little visual lag.
