Howard Lutnick tells Canada ‘they suck’ and vows to wind back trade deal with US Fraught talks set to resume to end dispute that is costing America more than $1bn a month

Lutnick the Nudnik casts vulgar insults at Canadians and blames them for the US trade deficit. The nice northern neighbors decide to stay home. Trade deficit gets worse because they’re not visiting. Brilliant!

Colombia convenes climate ‘coalition of the willing’ to break global fossil fuel deadlock Santa Marta conference born out of frustration at Cop summits, where renewable progress has been stalled by major polluters

Wonderful that Colombia is hosting this meeting on phasing out fossil fuels, but disappointing that The Guardian refers to it as “a small developing country.” It’s roughly 2X the size of France. Would The Guardian refer to France as “a small developed country”?

REP. AMO: Do you believe hungry children should be fed?

VOUGHT: Yes, and they are.

Vought's budget aims to cut $1.4 billion in fruit and vegetable benefits for parents and young children, on top of the millions who are losing SNAP benefits due to the One Big Beautiful Bill.

April 13, 2026 On April 12, the day of Hungary’s parliamentary elections, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) posted on social media that it was closely watching the election and stood firmly behind ...

Hungary’s Orbán was using government money to finance the Conservative Political Action Conference in the US.

CPAC was/is a foreign influence operation. Did it register with DOJ under the Foreign Agents Registration Act?

Asking for a friend.

Trump’s Humiliation in Orbán Defeat Stunner Is Only Just Beginning For Viktor Orbán’s epic loss in Hungary to have real meaning in America, Democrats and liberals need to proclaim themselves part of the global anti-authoritarian movement.

The massive Orban defeat should prompt Dems to align themselves more firmly with anti-fascist and pro-democracy forces abroad. There's a powerful link to be drawn between the celebrations in Budapest and the confrontations with ICE in Minneapolis. 1/

Trump promised his top officials pardons before he leaves office, according to the WSJ.

We knew he'd do this. But telling people ahead of time provides an incentive for them to break the law—including abusing power and grifting. Crime spree!

Trump Tirade at MAGA War Critics Accidentally Makes Surprise Admission The president just referred to Alex Jones’s Sandy Hook conspiracy-mongering as “horrendous.” Funny thing—he didn’t seem to think so at the time.

In his tirade against MAGA war critics, Trump blasted Alex Jones for calling Sandy Hook a hoax.

This seemed odd. So I went back and checked. At the time Trump hailed Jones as "amazing" and rebuffed demands that he denounce lies about the shooting.

This is not foreign policy, it’s a deranged mad man threatening to wipe out an entire country.

It's past time. The 25th Amendment must be invoked.

Today, he's threatening that a "whole entire civilization will die tonight."
This is a madman on a killing spree.

Congress MUST NOT approve this tyrant's budget request.

This would be a good time for: a.) STRATCOM commanders to read up on Nuremberg and prosecutions for obeying orders to commit war crimes; and b.) for cabinet members to reread the 25th Amendment and have each other on speed dial.
