Give yourself time. Your grief is still new, still raw. Remember that there is no timetable for grief. My only child died almost 13 years ago and I still cry from time to time.
It will get easier as time passes but there may always be things that bring a tear from time to time—and that’s okay.

40 cents a pound to pick green beans by hand for our consumption. Out in the fields, in the heat and I assume in the rain as well. That is just not enough pay for the backbreaking work that farm workers are doing: 40 cents X 200 lbs is only $80. 40 cents X 400 lbs is only $160.
Unfortunately for us, he only knows 1 way to negotiate, and that one way doesn’t work in this situation.

Kushner has no business being involved in these negotiations. He’s a real estate guy, just like his father-in-law. These negotiations with Iran/Israel are out of his league. He’s is not a diplomat.
There is a reason Vance was chosen as VP—do we know why? Either Trump thought he was could be easily managed or he was hand-picked by the Heritage clan for some specific reason. Vance does not stand out as being more qualified or more intelligent, but there has to be some reason for it.
We have male members of Congress who progress to VP or to a Cabinet secretary role before ascending to the Presidency. Those positions are subordinate roles, no matter if they are male or female. What would be a better pathway for a woman instead—state governor to Senator to President?
I think she needs a little more time/experience. Would love to see her as the Speaker of the House, then VP. Of course we first need to discuss WHY it’s so hard to elect a talented and qualified WOMAN as President of the US! We would have been fine w/ either Clinton or Harris as POTUS.

Hub and I are 71 years old. We go to the movie theater sporadically now. The best thing we’ve found is that our local Movie Tavern sells $6 tickets on Tuesdays (and free small bag of popcorn). Affordable for old farts like us. We saw “Project Hail Mary” and want to see it again.
