I've been a member of three unions, and a steward in two of them. Unions are great initially. In the end, I was prevented from receiving a promotion due to quotas. I ultimately had to quit the union for further my career. Not ideal.

I'm 70. Biden was arguably the most effective POTUS of my lifetime. Not crazy about his worship of all things military and/or support for Israel. But other than that, he did a hell of a lot of good. He surrounded himself with great people.

Things feel expensive because they ARE expensive. Inflation is a rate of change, not a price level. The rate of change may slow, but prices continue to rise, albeit at a much slower pace.

For me personally, I've come to regret nearly all my votes for POTUS. I voted straight-line GOP until 2008. Obama was the first Dem I ever voted for... for anything. I also think Biden was an incredibly effective POTUS, perhaps the best in my lifetime. I assume we shall have to agree to disagree.
