i'm really enjoying The Ratline by @timsheinman.bsky.social. it's another narrative deduction game, with a great combo of period-piece investigation and logical conclusion-jumping

The Ratline is a great new entry in the category of investigation games where you analyse evidence and put clues together on an investigation board.
The story has us track down Nazi fugitives who are now hiding across the world.
And I'm currently cracking those cases on my channel:

You're kind to be an ambassador for indie games, but the numbers say they've never been bigger. And making a living in them as a developer is a legitimate pursuit in a way almost impossible in the other creative industries. Enjoy it while it lasts!
When you going round again?
Leave a review, it will make you feel better.
Thanks Amanda, here we're some of the alternate titles
1. The Rootline
2. The Rattrees
3. The Roottrees are Nazis
4. The Nazis are (not entirely) Dead
5. I could just Goebbel these 5 pieces all damn day
We are now in a bundle with a spunky little game The Roottrees are Dead. The Roottrees devs are just terrific and I really hope they can do something with this charming little number.

Tertulia marca de la casa y un buen puñado de reseñas guapas incluyendo The Ratline @timsheinman.bsky.social, Esoteric Ebb @esotericebb.bsky.social, Upstairs, Monster Hunter Stories 3, MLB The Show 26, Dark Trip y Hearthstone
The Ratline has sold 5000 copies!
That might not sound like a lot but it is roughly 10 times more than my entire previous catalog.
It also means that I don't have to sell my other kidney!
For Ludica I wrote [in italian 🇮🇹] about The Ratline by @timsheinman.bsky.social
Includes a quote from the essay Zen and Slow Games by @vthewanderer.bsky.social that fits perfectly.

I've been described the same myself!
Si vous voulez traquer des nazis mais que vous ne voulez pas le faire une arme à la main, laissez donc @zalifalcam.thepixelpost.com vous parler de l'excellent The Ratline de @timsheinman.bsky.social :
Incredibly excited! We are now over 100 reviews within a week of launching. Thanks so much to everyone who made this dream a Nazi hunting reality!
There's nowhere Nazis can hide when a dedicated PI takes the case - I really enjoyed the Ratline, despite some annoying UI hiccups
Hunt Nazis, you say?
Many thanks!
Guilty as charged!
@timsheinman.bsky.social has been making deduction games for years and nobody told me!
I just finished "Rivals", which is part of the Owlskip Set on Steam, where you have to figure out the chronology of events in the lives of two former band members, Luke and Josh, who have gone their own way.
Thanks to @cressup.bsky.social for doing this interview with me for Curious Odyssey.

This game is amazing, I had to disable the snoring dog though because I already have a snoring cat and i wanted to listen to her instead
This week on The Untitled History Podcast, I talk post-WW2 Nazi escape routes with @waitmanwbeorn.com
We seperate myth from reality around the 'Ratlines', look at the Catholic church's complicity and discuss why many German war criminals didn't need to flee at all. #history #ww2
You are Alan Turing, Bletchley Park is dark and it is your job to watch...the machines. Word is it that these gigantic computing machines have taken on a mind of their own.
Five nights at Bletchley!
Unlike the code-cracking horror game, Fear of Enigma!
Many thanks!
Thanks! I hope so!
Thanks Victor. Victor is also a peerless puzzle designer and fine Dane.
That's so great to hear. Please feel free to leave a review as it really helps us reach more people. Best, Tim
Just terrific.
That's terrific. Please feel free to leave us a review on steam as soon as you feel comfortable. It makes a massive difference early on. Best,
