New work from our lab investigating the relationship between repetition suppression, repetition priming and increases in oscillatory power in simultaneous fMRI-EEG. Induced power increases are strongly associated with priming magnitude, supporting a mix of the synchrony and facilitation models.

Attention PhD grads looking for research and teaching jobs! Barnard College in NYC is hiring "Faculty Fellows." It's a 2-year mentored position that requires 2 courses/year (or equivalent) and research in one of our labs. Due April 20th. More info: barnard.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/Faculty/job/...
A friend drove two hours today for her breast cancer chemotherapy only to learn it was canceled due to NIH cuts. Clinical trial ended midstream. No treatment, no restart, no plan, no information. Her bro-in-law's chemo was also canceled.
Absolutely.
This is a vile move. All the more disgusting and infuriating that it’s being framed about “protecting” Jewish students. You know what’s actually anti-Semitic? using Jews as pawns in this disgusting fascist theatre. Don’t take the bait and let it divide us. 😡
One of the NIMH PIs whose name is the termination list: Sooyhun Lee, whose lab just published this beautiful @nature.com paper (that has received too little press because comms at NIH are down). Read! Cite!

Soohyun’s work has been lifting the field for a long time, a big inspiration to our own, and this study is the latest example. Great call @nicolecrust.bsky.social Very much recommend!
Hypothesis: Elon read 1984, but didn’t realize it was a dystopia.
#NIH #science
This is science from my group in the NIH intramural program, which aims to understand what goes wrong in cognitive syndromes like dementia and schizophrenia. These diseases probably affect neural computations. That’s why we’re doing this science: to figure that out.
Important and under-covered attack on the guts of NIH's intramural program from @science.org NIH ban on renewing senior scientists adds to assaults on its in-house research | Science | AAAS www.science.org/content/arti...
This is a travesty. The students who participated in the NIH SIP program were all incredible scholars and those that I had the privilege of working with are now entrepreneurs, physicians, and engineers.

www.nature.com/articles/s41... awesome new work out today! From the Lee lab in the intramural research program at NIMH!
If you live in AK, AL, IN, FL, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, OH, and SC, your reps are on the Senate HELP Committee which has jurisdiction over NIH.
Write to them pointing out the jobs and money coming to your state from NIH: www.unitedformedicalresearch.org/nih-in-your-...
describe impact of NIH cuts on....
Thing is, it's not just a big cut - it's a cut that hits the framework in which research happens. It's like taking away half the shoes in your closet, only it's *all* the left shoes in every pair. Are we supposed to hop on one foot?
A truly wonderful opportunity!
It is so nice to see everybody over here, so much more pleasant than that other site!
