Hi #portfolioday Iโ€™m Lee, Iโ€™m a painter from England. I have a penchant for abandoned and derelict buildings - an unhealthy obsession that finds its way into my strange and unsettling universe.

Let's play "Guess How Many Books I Sell Today".

I'm working until about 10pm, so there's plenty of time!

Nearest guess wins the book of their choice, up to about a tenner.

Reply with your guess before 3.15pm (and please repost).

GOOD LUCK!

In the UK, and I think I learned "overalls" before I did "dungarees"

But in my head, overalls are work wear, whereas dungarees are leisure

I have no idea if that is accurate :-)

Absolutely ... and maybe that's what hit their confidence when suddenly the stones weren't doing exactly what they planned for the first time in the tournament (?)

So sad to see how well the GB pair did during the group stage only to struggle in the two games that mattered :(

Definitely. But suddenly Baleba's form has returned, Utd look a little less of a shitshow, and I think we're expecting an unrefuseable bid in the summer anyway ...

Hopefully not, but I can see it happening

Expecting a late Baleba bid ?

Thanks ... I assumed there would be because of how many each team would lose

In the UK there aren't normally clashes in most sports ... except cricket and international (test) matches ... in which case the teams just have to carry on without their best players

Asking from the UK ... Is there a big mid-season break for the Olympics, or does the schedule carry on without those selected?

I couldn't if I tried

Back in the day when they could print the rules in the box-lid, instead of a 40-page rule book :)

How is everything? all good? I think we're coming along to see you at Katie Fitzgeralds in the spring ...

Also, I read somewhere else ... When you get a Nobel prize, you are give a gold medal which you keep somewhere very safe, and also a crappy plated one which you put in a frame for public display ...

I wonder which one he was given

Amazingly, she wasn't the first choice. Apparently, Alan Cumming was (he'd already done the US one) but he wasn't available

I thought the same re: the boxes ... but I do think they added the creaky hinges afterwards :-)

If you're near to London, get yourself along!

Or East Hagbourne for that matter, wherever the heck that is ๐Ÿ˜€

As Brighton fans living in Stoke on Trent, we sometimes have to drive a couple of hours South so that we can sing "you dirty Northern bastards" at the opposition :-)
