Fair. Apologies.
I’ll find another “anyway” gif.

God, I loved watching him play for Southampton. He was so different from pretty much every other player.
Shame he’s such a bellend.
Ooh, I may have to take issue there. Fosters is an Australia beer, I’ll grant you that, and it may have been loved in the 80s. But it’s never been popular in my adult life (I’m 50 this year) and no one I know drinks it now.
It is by far our most famous export beer, though.
“We’re helping too many people with disabilities” is a hell of a line from a Labor government
AOC talking to RFK Jr. Her facial and hand gesture has the spiritual energy of that Italian hand gesture where you pinch your fingers and wave your hand (the "ma che vuo" gesture).
how it feels to say "sprezzatura"
Single frame. Title “Against the Law…” NSW Premier Chris Minns marching in front of the bench in court holding sign saying “SOCIAL COHESION RULES OK” and chanting “WHADDOIWANT? TO OUTLAW PROTEST! WHENNOIWANNIT? NOW!” Court scribe watches on and judge says, “Move on.”
Protest.
My @smh cartoon.
Was trying to post something sassy but they’re just too pretty.
I reckon we all saw naked aggression on a daily basis in most corners of our high school…. 😜
Well, his nunchucks, maybe.
I’ll see myself out…
That might not be my picture on The Onion. But that’s me. #seen
I’ve heard the verse was a reference to a 1973 Sonny Chiba film China the Bodyguard rather than a Tarantino original.
Either way, it ain’t in Ezekiel….
The cormorant!? It wouldn’t make most Aussies’ top 5. We’re obviously outliers on this one.
My country does not care about Indigenous lives.
Hugo Weaving. No doubt.
That sounds fair.
I just wish that the money that regional dwellers like me are being charged was actually used to maintain our roads, too.
I’m from Taree, but don’t live there anymore, and so many of the roads (in town, not outside) are just atrocious. And have been for years.
AI translation just cannot do this. Unfortunately not enough people love words enough to pay for the actual thought behind them.
The worst roads hands down are in rural areas. We often pay more for petrol, usually have to cover longer distances, and on average earn significantly less than our metro kin.
Yet there’s never money to maintain our roads. I’d love a fairer system, but as many have stated: it’s complex.
If life is two-sided then efil should mean something.
Trying to choose joy.
The fact that the headline after the word “is” is anything other than “a huge sign that you need a different job” is truly baffling to me.
But I would never read Business Insider, so I guess they know things I don’t.
Don’t know if you’re into Elizabeth’s analyses, but this one is fun youtu.be/lzPBr_3zJtw?...
Not sure any personal add I put up would match the example you posted. That family seems awesome! Sure hope they find something.
I’m in the area and will need to begin renting soon. I’m going through a separation and we’ll have to sell the house, and there’s no way I’ll be able to get a loan on my own. I’m mildly terrified. Protection for renters has always been abysmal and now tourists are better for investors. It’s bleak.
Autumn is my favourite time of the year. Weather turning, football season starting, etc, etc.
This year, not so much….
Can men just be, I dunno, *not this* for a while?
We really are the fucking worst.
An MIT study found 83% of students who use AI to create essays can't remember their "own" writing.
These departments aren't tasked with producing documents, they're tasked with cultivating expertise and competency within their remit. If they're using AI they're failing to do that #spéirgorm
The wannabe science nerd in me feels this should lead to a “What happens when star run out of gas?” joke
Perhaps. But at least those folks probably actually *understand* the theory. If all people are doing is prompting then there’s a good chance they don’t really understand *anything*, not even Nietzsche.
