I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.
I've been watching them for a while. Some of the fines they face are large with the most recent being border inspection fees for their imported cabinets. They did nothing wrong but paid thousands in storage fees while the container was being inspected.
What you can't see in the pictures of pedestrian streets: the QUIET. Hundreds of people out, and all you hear are birds singing, the click of a bike mechanism, and the murmer of conversation.

Never mind, the hail just arrived
Missed downtown St Paul. I was out running and had a nice shower to wash off the sweat and cooldown the last 1/4 mile.
Mamdani hasn't had time to really think about all that space he now has, because he spends most of his time at City Hall and around New York City. He tries to keep a semblance of his old life by getting around the city on foot, by bike or train. "If you spend every single day driving around in a tinted window security detail, you will have a very specific view of the city," he said. "You actually meet other New Yorkers and you break out of the bubble that so many have come to expect of politics, where politicians only seem to be spending time with other politicians or the people who donated to make them politicians."
I'd say that this applies to anyone traveling in a car in any city. Being in a car versus walking, riding, or taking transit fundamentally changes how you view a place and your relationship to it. I wish more leaders set this kind of example.

Yep, and NE Mpls has 4 within 3 blocks of each other with two of them on the same block. I always chuckle passing the 3 that are on University

That's crazy! The city needs to focus on raising the downtown property values/tax land value. I'm downtown and this year mine rose for the first time since 2020 and is still below what I paid for in 2020. Including assessments it's about the same as 2020.
Of all the out of state speakers I think Bernie was the only one to have it right throughout his speech

I drive I-94 to Stillwater every day because it's rational. Here's why that makes me the best argument for tearing it out.
I wrote about the lack of “rethinking” that went into the “rethinking 94” process. www.minnpost.com/cityscape/20...
Will travel be okay Saturday during the day? I have to go to Rochester for a quick trip but don't want to get stuck there over the weekend.
E-bikes aren't cheating but we need better speed controls and regulations moving the faster bikes to the roads. As a runner and biker it's scary being passed close by a e-bike going 20-30 mph
