Why is Rice-a-Roni the San Francisco treat and why was every single game show in the '70s sponsored by them?

"Black Rain" (1989) comes to mind. So many movies back then with the nighttime shot of city streets reflecting taillights and accompanied by synth drums.

I still have my copy of that. Always loved Di Fate's work.

I like that they felt the need to trademark "The W." So many companies would want to steal the name, I'm sure.
