"Is there anything you'd consider worthwhile for the sims?"
โ "I'll have to check both the observation deck out and the simulations as well.
Though I have to wonder, is it really that expansive with what you can do in there? I haven't really looked into it much myself but maybe I ought to give it a spin."

"I can already tell that the gym as it stands is gonna be like a second home to me. Even better to know what options there are too."
Truthfully, it probably was one of the most impressive gyms he's come across throughout the years.

โ There had been more than a few previous drops that were riddled with tensions.
"Personally, I enjoy the drop from orbit, it's an exhilarating experience."
"Haven't explored much on the S Decks so far. Anything in particular that's nice up there?"
"Ah, well, I just happen to feel like maybe I've just been somewhat lucky one way or another. I don't pay too much mind as to what they think much, each assignment has had different receptions."
Not all attempts to 'make nice' with the troopers went as planned. โ
โ "Being here is different. I'm not used to so much open space, but it'll probably grow on me. Well, once I know where everything is without getting lost. How long did it take you to navigate this place?"
"I bounced between solo runs and dropping in with helljumpers if they needed extra firepower. Personally, I find the coffins quite cozy."
He huffed in light amusement recalling the drop pods. It was the thrill of the drop he loved so much. Nothing but pure adrenaline coursing through his veins.

"Either way, it's something new. Might as well grab the bull by the horns and make what I can of it."
"They didn't specify, as usual. Though I'd say it's got to do with needing more of us available to deal with Banished."
He tilted his head to the side and made a vague gesture towards his prosthetic arm.
"But I suspect being here will make keeping this bloody thing maintained much easier. โ
โ "I take it you've been here a while, then?"
"Not for very long, no. It's been fairly recent that the change was made. Haven't gotten used to everything yet, but I'm getting there."
Truth be told, it was more than just a small change for him. It was weird, being stationed on a ship. He was more used to having boots on the ground.

"Ah. New to some, old to many. Though I don't recognize you. Must be one of the other companies if I had to guess."
He glanced over the weights that she'd been moving, it's a good thing it didn't end up disasterous.
"Murphy, Alpha company. And you are?"
โ It wouldn't be until his shoulder collided with another body, that he snapped out of his thoughts.
"Shitโ. Sorry about that, that's my bad."
โ But Murphy managed to find a means to spend his downtime.
In the gym, naturally.
In fact, he'd been so inside of his head so much, he temporarily spaced out for long enough he didn't initially see the Gamma Spartan.

Outside of deployments and drops, the Spartan didn't get much of an opportunity to mingle with the others around, though that would be changing, very soon.
The one track mind of getting shit done and blowing things up was hard to steer away from.

Murphy's too wide awake to go to sleep. It's not uncommon for the Alpha to be restless.
He's making his way to the gym, hopefully he might be able to exhaust this extra energy with a rigorous workout.
