There is so much room for brewing around Zombie Infestation.

I just lost a match to Zombie Infestation Dragon Reanimator

A bunch of people have done some combination of Krovikan Horror and Squee in various madness or control shells

It's just a really awesome brew-around.

I am so bummed that I won't be able to make the Bifrost 1.5k. It looks like it's going to be an incredible event.

I think the ban was primarily a response to the insane conversion rate when piloted by top tier players. See: the run that Marc Eric Vogt was on in Europe

That said, Sam really highlighted the absurdity of the engine.

I do recommend playing Premodern. It's pretty fantastic

You can find a format intro and a deck pricing tool for standard builds of meta decks at this site. The community is great but it doesn't seem super active on BlueSky yet.

I'd recommend giving it a shot.

It's been a constantly evolving format since its creation and it doesn't appear to be close to being solved.

There are 40+ viable decks that no one is surprised to see win a tournament.

Only a couple decks play expensive cards. I will link a format primer.
