so, a sports franchise has decided that it's good for the franchise and sport as a whole to allow people to actually watch the games for free??????

today was Camden Drama Club’s closing performance of 9 to 5. all our productions are completely student run from front & back of house.

as of right now, Camden Drama Club will not exist next year as theater has been cut from our North Minneapolis HS. this is truly devastating for our community.

The Minneapolis Public School budget proposal includes a 20% cut to counseling staff. (No alt text in the quoted post, but all of that text and more is available in the linked article.)

A lovely mossy boulder with a face. I walked past this venerable stone gentleman on Dartmoor when I was beginning to write my first novel, Villager, and it whispered all 104,000 words of the book to me. So now I have to pay it all of my royalties. Unfortunately my ex-publisher stopped paying me royalties last year. Understandable, the boulder was not happy. But now I have a new publisher and the book has been republished. So remember if you purchase a copy you will be helping a boulder to eat, pay the rent on his riverside moss garden, and feed his boulder family.

Yes it could be argued that keeping up with world events is important but alternatively can I interest you in hugging an ancient mossy boulder that looks like a face and quietly listening while it tells you stories from centuries cloaked in mist.

Nor Stewie. And Phee might be getting a longer term contract instead of the supermax. I would not worry about Phee.

Leaving the monied comment alone because thats’s bullshit (his side always has more money), sounds to me like the Mayor has a fundamental problem with people getting involved in their democracy. He’s frustrated with his own constituents for being too darn civically engaged.

Hey man, these are mostly all the qualities about Minneapolis that launched you on your national victory tour during the ICE surge. Did you not enjoy appearing on the Bulwark podcast and the Daily Show? Ok, then keep your mouth shut.

Alanna Smith is the definition of 'delayed not denied' | The IX Basketball Alanna Smith once thought her WNBA dreams had passed her by, but they were merely waiting for the perfect time to come true.

I loved covering 'Lan. An incredibly honest and vulnerable person, who made the whole media contingent cackle on more than one occasion. Also the subject of one of my favorite pieces I've worked on.
