im pretty lukewarm on 7, but 8 and 9 are personally some of my favorites in the entire series

i enjoyed it quite a bit! even if i do see why people say to just play REmake instead

glad i played it though even if just for the historical importance, excited to see what the OG 2 & 3 have to offer :)

i think its level of real horror ebbs and flows throughout the series with entires like 5 landing completely outside of the genre, but especially games like REmake or the latest trilogy of 7-9 i would call pretty solidly within the horror space

finally played the lost levels for doom64 and the new final level is so much better than the original one that its kind of unbelievable

i love the full game key hunt for the unmaker but having to run around a giant area finding them before you are allowed to use the best weapon in the game rules
