The propulsion pack build is done. Next step is to seal it with Creature cast rubber. The colors I’m thinking are Red wit white stripes. Once it’s painted, I can add the strapping and then do some aging, and it will be done. Going to go through the Prop list and see what I need to build next.

I Like to use black and brown acrylic watered down and brushed on. Spread it out with a dry brush. Then I go over it with the paper towel in a little denatured alcohol to wipe off the excess. This technique works only if your base code is @rustoleum 2X paint.

I still have my TNT Cosplay silver sharpie. it works way better than I expected. Once I’m done with all the armor pieces I’ll probably seal it with a clearcoat. Necessity is the mother of invention. What are some of the techniques you came up when you’re in a pinch?

In the process of painting, my egg. Been making it up as I go. I think the next step is to paint the lighter flesh colors around the mouth area, then might do some dry brushing of some lighter colors for highlights. This build has been taking longer than expected.

Sunday Live Stream Patterning the Alien neck. My plan is to make it out of the thin upholstery foam. Need to make a prototype to see what changes need to be made. When Giger was making the Alien. He enjoyed using tubing bones and found parts. The main detail on the side of the alien head is a 70s gas pump. I bought one with the intention of using it. But it was easier to just make it out of foam. @alienearthfx.bsky.social
