Like any powerful tool, we as a society have a responsibility to use the first amendment wisely. Part of that is applying critical thinking to what we choose to amplify. We haven't been exactly rocking that part yet in the age of social media by favoring clicks over credibility.

Remote learning is sub-par for kids and pins parents at home. We shouldn't be doing that for a tourism event.
Need wolves again
But wait: A physics degree has never been primarily about physics. It's about core skills, and doing really f'ing hard math, so that after you stare long enough at the job market for physicists, you can slip into a job as a quant or computer scientist while knowing what a tensor actually is
I would like to take the opposing bet.
To make it fair, perhaps the payout ratio should be equal to the ratio of his salary to my salary.
This is called destroying your seed corn.
We're going to be suffering from this administration for twenty years, and the price will be paid in money, geopolitical weakness, and preventable deaths.
Attention UPMC: maybe next time be brave and do the right thing. Reinstate gender affirming care now!
OooOo. The first set was incredibly good. Looking forward to this.

Farewell old rope, hello new little practice lead rope segments.
(I've been having fun making myself do some extra clipping while top-roping. I've always led sport decently below my TR grade so I'm trying to rectify that a little)
May I suggest instead contributing to the endowment for the parallel data lab, so we can keep training amazing Ph.D. students in an environment of turbulent federal funding? ๐ค

Don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Bring a knife to a vault containing many wheels of cheese in a brutalized postapocalyptic society where knives are only a legend. You are now Knifebringer, Divider of the Cheese. Raise your knife and rule the clans.

I'm uncertain about the white spike - did it come with a stand, by chance? That might just be the ground part, but I'm uncertain. Sorry on that part.
The little black bits are arrow rests that should be placed above the grip in the notch where the arrow goes through. They help hold the arrow in place as you draw, etc. The white patch is the adhesive pad for it.
A purr-fect protocol to run over cat5 or cat6.
("slowed somewhat" in the sense that if you take an 800lb critter to 850lb, you've improved by 6%, but taking a 1300lb critter to 1350 is only 3.8%, AND things like transport get more difficult as slaughter weight goes up.). Very likely the days of super cheap beef are over.
Efficiency gains were due to improvements in management, health, and genetics. But the rate of those improvements has slowed somewhat. We're also seeing problems due to increased temperatures / extreme weather events and corresponding droughts, all of which hit beef particularly hard.

And likely more. The production efficiency of beef improved drastically for the previous years, and those gains have slowed, so beef is more exposed to other inflation sources such as supp. feed costs. See, e.g.,

3x more beef per head of cattle than 70 yrs ago
