Yesterday we had a wonderful day in libraries with pupils from Wellesbourne and Windsor Primary Schools. The children were joined by James Lyons who led them in a beatboxing and rap workshop. What a brilliant way to inspire young people to experiment and use language!

We're so excited to be launching our schools events in community libraries on Thursday 6th March, World Book Day. We'll be in Kensington Library with the fabulous Levi Tafari. It's going to be wonderful to bring groups of pupils in to the library to celebrate language, books and poetry!

Today we had great fun talking about emotions, playing games and drawing different characters showing different feelings. We showed these wonderful pictures of a bat character and asked the children to work out what the bat was feeling. #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek

A must read report. LLP works with schools on ensuring that their pupils have access to literature that both reflects their own realities and helps them to learn about the lives of others. The most recent #ReflectingRealities report is a powerful reminder of how much work remains to be done.

Working on our empathy and understanding booklists. There are so many fabulous books available to help young people understand the experiences of those who have sought sanctuary.
