Somehow David Moyes got better looking with age?!?!

This whole statement is so telling. Ford has spent a long time pretending to care about government spending, despite spending more than the Wynne government. It's incomprehensible to him that anyone might think beyond "spending bad" and care what the government is actually doing with the money.
A child can ride safely without a booster seat when you can say YES to ALL 5 1) Back against the vehicle seat 2) Knees bend at edge of seat 3) Lap belt on tops of thighs, not on belly 4) Shoulder belt between neck and shoulder 5) Sits properly. No slouching, no playing with seat belt, etc. * To ride safely, most kids need a booster until age 10-12*
And this doesn’t end, if you follow car seats manufacturers guidelines they recommend your child sit in at least a booster seat until they are meeting the “5-step Test”, which essentially recommends keeping them in a seat until they’re an adult. A lot of adult women wouldn’t pass this test!
If we had two kids we physically could not fit two car seats and me. I have friends that ended up with a massive suv because they’re expecting their third and couldn’t fit three car seats into a mid-size suv.
It’s not too bad if you have one kid. You can manage, but I definitely understand those that increase their vehicle size with more than one. With one, I have to be the driver because I cannot fit into the passenger seat because the baby seat is behind there and the seat has to be slid up too far.
A graph from the TLDR newsletter that shows the percentage of cars sold vs the percentage of pickup trucks and suvs sold from 2004 to 2026. The lines are almost even at 50% in 2004 and the cars line decreases to around 10% and the pickups & suvs line increases to almost 90% by 2026 The graph says: What killed the affordable car? Pickup trucks In the early 2000s, Canadians bought lots of affordable compact cars. Then jumbo trucks and SUVs elbowed them off the streets and, increasingly, out of the market.
I’m expecting a baby in the next week. The baby industry is hyper-capitalism but the car seat industry must be the automotive industry in disguise. You cannot find car seats that comfortably fit a sedan. It traps people into buying bigger cars which I think partially explains this graph from TLDR:
I was actually so confused lol. I was like, “does Dovercourt turn West somewhere up North? I thought it ended at Davenport”
Graceland is one of the top 5 albums of the 20th century
Yes, I hated this as a former member. I only wanted to join the ONDP and they pushed me into the Feds who I didn’t align with.
What the fuck? What kind of self-respecting Canadian supports this?
She films and edits her videos before and after work — sometimes for an entire day on the weekend - to have content lined up for the week. As her day job
But her modest following hasn't precluded her from finding financial success online. In the first three months of this year, she says she has earned $4,355 before tax from brand partnerships, affiliate links and Amazon commissions.
Like just get a part-time job. You’ll make more money
Yeah the article literally says she spends all her free time working on these and that she’s only made $4500 so far in 2026
That HOV lane does not stop the psychos. They think it’s the 180km/h lane
Like the HOV lanes stop these people from using them
"The Qana massacre took place on April 18, 1996, near Qana, a village in then Israeli-occupied Southern Lebanon, when the Israeli military fired artillery shells at a United Nations compound, which was sheltering around 800 Lebanese civilians, killing 106 and injuring around 116."

Every once in a while, it’s important to be reminded that Ontario, is in fact, on an Ocean.
This looks like a very good shop
So thats why Ford wants an expanded Billy Bishop Island Airport...
This city is unrecognizable from the years of Ford and Tory. I just can’t take anymore of this vindictive and selfish policy making from Conservative politicians who give zero fucks about the actual quality of life in this City
I think I could be open to a regional strategy but that would have to be municipal governments making decisions with each other. Not this paternalistic and unaccountable power grab that Ford keeps doing.
The province is undermining the City of Toronto Act bit by bit. It’s slowly becoming irrelevant legislation. This is the opposite of what Toronto needs. It doesn’t need more oversight and to get pulled into Provincial priorities. It needs autonomy and the ability to make more decisions on its own.
He’s actually just taxing the rich
So he’s not gonna show up wearing a dress that says “Tax The Rich“?
Oops, I had the wrong station. I was thinking Gerrard station! DeGrassi is a much better station name!
A screenshot from Google Streetview from August 2012 of a planter that says South Riverdale
To be precisely accurate, this has since fallen off but used to be right across the street from where the “Leslieville” station is going in:
Chinatown station is awesome though
“Helicopter parents don’t let their kids roam anymore”
Yeah because their neighbourhoods are islands surrounded by highways and no one wants their child to be flattened by a 6-ton mommy tank
