Truly, folks acting out in this way is the failure of Congress. We are seeing a lot of violence because folks are getting increasingly desperate for sustainable, just, nimble, and active decision making for the country.

yeah people are getting dumped just to be hired back as contractors for less pay and no benefits. It's happening to people at all experience levels

My heart is just so tight thinking about the Iranian people putting their bodies next to their critical infrastructure, knowing how little this administration will care about them.

Most of the social programs that are routinely dismissed in American politics as "unrealistic" or "too expensive" could have been paid for multiple times over by the cost of this war so far, much less the costs to come.

It's never the money.

i say this often and i believe it. it got kind of uncool, during the obama era i think, to be anti-war because war itself is barbaric, unjust, and outright evil. but it is, and you can oppose war on those grounds alone.

I think it's bad for the President to threaten to annihilate an entire culture and i do not think you are being alarmist if you take his threats seriously and literally.

I think that even if it turns out that he doesn't do it -- that it was bluster or he changed his mind or whatever -- it doesn't make you retroactively alarmist for taking it seriously.

You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.

We are watching a dangerous and unfit President drag this country toward catastrophe — and Republicans refuse to act.

Invoke the 25th Amendment. Do your fucking job.
