Well, Scythe is... rather intimidating on the first go round. The final score was 119 to 29, with Chris earning the latter. It wasn't clear until the very end that scoring looks at controlled territories. It's definitely a game that rewards efficiency and dedication over everything. #boardgamesky

Unearth is one of Christoph's favourite games. This weekend they got to play it in 4-player and, predictably, came last. This should be more popular!
The intersection of tableau building and dice luck has always made this both a frustrating and rewarding game to play. Sets of three are lucrative!

7 Wonders Draft cards to develop your ancient civilization and build its Wonder of the World.

7 Wonders featured on our Twitch stream last night. A clever drafting game that evokes the research trees of 4X games like Civilisation, without the fatigue brought on by managing multiple avenues of play. Especially clever is the resource borrowing mechanic, carried forward by games like Mottainai.
