Even though the sequels get some mixed criticism, the Back To The Future trilogy is still one of my favourite films trilogies of all time! It's one of the few trilogies I keep going back to and revisiting. #BackToTheFuture #MartyMcFly #DocBrown #Delorean #TimeMachine

I never had the pleasure of venturing inside the castle the last time I was on Cardiff. Would love to at some point βΊοΈ
Just finished watching this for the first time. I can honestly say with full confidence that it's one of the best films I've seen made from the end of the 1940s.
My favourite Chuck Norris meme:
NEW EPISODE!
Joining us this week is @mbudds.bsky.social (Sarah's husband!) to discuss Martin Scorsese's Cape Fear. We cover the film's balance between heavy themes and comedy, and of course the greatest Simpsons episode ever.

Ahh fair enough. I wasn't aware. Sorry if my post offended you
Does Sean Penn just not like attending award ceremonies in person? Lol π
Finished reading Silence of The Lambs for the first time, a few days ago. I couldn't put it down! Talk about being a page turner! That being said, the brilliant film adaptation slightly wins over it for me.
No idea what I'll think of Hannibal considering the film was bang average.

... It's always scary going into a completely new job for a different company after being somewhere else for as long as I have but I feel I've done it for all the right reasons, especially in terms with where I feel I am in my life right now from a career/work life balance POV βΊοΈ
...that made it really special. I felt like a valuable asset of a work family where I felt really welcomed. I've worked at two other GP surgeries before this one and I didn't even last 12 months at either of them, whereas I lasted at this one for three and a half years (go figure)
Of all the workplaces I've experienced over the last 20+ years, I've never felt more at "home" than I did at Cranleigh Medical Practice. Sure, it was a tough job being a receptionist/administrator at a GP surgery sometimes, but it was the amazingly gifted and supportive team I had behind me
It's been more than 24 hrs since I left my current role at my local GP surgery, before I begin a completely new healthcare job (remotely from home) next Monday. And it still hasn't fully sunk in yet!
Its somehow gone completely over my head that Scream 7 is officially released in just over two weeks! This and Send Help are my two anticipated films to see this month.
What a time to be an avid horror fan!
I was today years old upon realising that Stephen Lang played Freddy Lounds in Michael Mann's MANHUNTER. π€―
Deeply saddened by the passing away of Catherine O'Hara this evening.
A great actress and funny comedian. Loved her in both Home Alone films and Beetlejuice.
Such a weird coincidence that both her and John Heard passed away at the same age of 71.
Roll on payday tomorrow! It's been a long ass month... π
Just finished doing two nights of appearing in a 1920s murder mystery play with my first ever local amateur dramatic society. Loved every minute of it!
My first time acting on stage in almost 12 years. Slipped easily back into it like a complete breeze. #ActingBug #StageBuzz #Acting
Oh dear...
Now reading #RedDragon
Never read any of the Hannibal Lector books before so I felt the time was way overdue to now start.
I really want to see this one whenever I have time to in between Predator and The Running Man π
Just finished watching Del Toro's #Frankenstein tonight.
Wasn't bad at all. However was it just me or did anyone feel really underwhelmed by how "unmenacing" the creature looked?
His design and make-up reminded me of this guy from The People Under The Stairs:
So apparently it's been confirmed by both Empire Magazine & Lionsgate that #KillBillTheWholeBloodyAffair is getting a UK cinema release from 5th December!
HYPE STARTS NOW.
There are just two new film releases on my radar to see in November:
#PredatorBadlands & #TheRunningMan
That is all.
Now watching #WitchfinderGeneral for the first time via @shudder.com
Such an amazing film! π€
I used to spend all or most of my hard earned cash buying more films from HMV/Zavvi. Nowadays I tend to stick most of it into my emergency savings fund. Honestly. Being an adult is boring ππ
Haha! It's why we work overtime in the first place π€£
Oh lord, I remember the time that I used to work 13.5 hour shifts across 3 or 4 days a week! Really not fun at all. π
I am more than halfway through re-reading #TheRunningMan and I can't help but wish that Colman Domingo should have been cast as Dan Killian, and Josh Brolin as Bobby Thompson! @edgarwright.bsky.social
We agree to disagree on this one.
