This is the most famous from the collection.
Photographer Don McCullin took pictures in the East End around Spitalfields in 1970. The condition of the homeless is unbelievable - almost medieval.
Jared Bowen is an amazing player (penalty miss aside). It’s great that he’s so loyal to West Ham, but it’s a shame that he hasn’t played at the highest level of club football either in the PL or abroad. He’s world class.

I saw Alan Bean (pilot, Apollo 12) give a talk at the London Roundhouse. He had a theory based on his friendships with other Apollo crews that the pilots, sitting on the right of the lunar module, came back from the Moon changed in a spiritual/artist way, whereas the commanders on the left didn’t.
