No worries, she refers to everyone as "she" so I don't think her understanding of pronouns is as advanced as her understanding of the cube rule of food 😊
Me, realizing I have to work a whole day to pay for an hour of labor at the car dealership
My almost 3-year-old has informed me that a hot dog is a type of taco.
There's something extra demoralizing about calling your car dealership for a repair appointment and having them tell you they estimate it will cost you $600 to have them give you an estimate to actually fix anything.
Screenshot of an article on msn.com: Simmons spoke on Monday about how the "No Tax on Tips" policy, part of Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" signed into law last year, had delivered an $11,000 tax refund to her family. The policy allows up to $25,000 in tip deductions through 2028. She said tips account for more than half of her $22,000 annual income, and that the relief had eased financial pressure as her husband reduced his working hours to manage a medical condition.
And if her income was actually $22,000, she wouldn't have been paying federal income tax anyway, even before the new deduction

If you made $11,000 on tips, the absolute most you could save from the "no tax on tips" deduction is $2,640. And that's only if you had at least $103,351 in other income ($206,701 for married filing jointly, which is presumably how you would file if you were married and your spouse lost their job)
Arguably the first amendment too
I was sure if I looked closely at the username it would say "realDonaldTnurp" or something like that
Alex Karp says only the neurodivergent will survive[1], while RFK Jr. wants to send neurodivergent people to forced labor camps[2]... this sounds like a NYT Pitchbot post.

They're building a network to connect all the sensors that watch the sky. A "Skynet," if you will.
What could possibly go wrong?
This is roughly what Meta was offering individual AI researchers to come work for them.

This reminds me of when they put tariffs on bananas and coffee that aren't grown in the US.
It's arguably worse, because at least Hawaii grows both of those (but probably not enough for the whole country).
So that would leave... nothing?
Good luck if your router breaks down, and if you were thinking of upgrading anytime soon, better get on that, I guess.
Is it not possible to remove Fetterman from any senate committees?
Just remembered the time a PM at a former employer admitted that he didn't like to give well-defined objectives or acceptance criteria because he wanted to be able to change them after I had estimated the work and committed to a release date...
That's not an exaggeration at all, judging by these photos

I realized that my dog has a demonstrably longer attention span than Andreesen claims to have AND she has the self-awareness to at least look guilty when she does something wrong.
I feel like I should try to design a t-shirt that says "my border collie is smarter than your venture capitalist."

every accusation is a confession, again.
The amount of fluoride added to drinking water is not only safe, it may have a positive effect. All the studies they are referencing looked at much higher levels of fluoride (usually naturally occurring) than are added to drinking water in the US.

"We find that children exposed to recommended levels of fluoride in drinking water exhibit modestly better cognition in secondary school, an advantage that is smaller and no longer statistically significant at age ~60."
