NHS England are recruiting patient and public voice partners for the National LGBTQIA+ Sounding Board.

The Sounding Board is a group of approximately 20 people with lived experience of NHS services and being lesbian, gay, bi+, trans, intersex, asexual and other queer identities.

Closes: 30 October

It really resonates with some of my recent work, and the range of views we heard on how people view use of data and automation and relationships within the public sector.

AI Adoption I posted recently about the challenge of adoption of AI by the public sector. There are two sides to this: how the public sector adopts AI itself, and how the public adopts AI-driven public services.

I enjoyed this from @jenitennison.com about how we shouldn’t view tackling digital exclusion solely as how can we get everyone doing everything online, but instead to understand the different values people find in different tasks and interactions.
