Hallmarks of #AI text being emdashes (—) and lines like, "Great catch", and "You're absolutely right" after getting something wrong seem like linguistic signifiers of its nature.
It needs to swerve, pivot on an instant, when the path it goes down is wrong. It's less smooth and fully-considered.

Yay! This was my idea. It's a super cool space.

I hate having to do the "look, they're normal just like us" post, but sometimes you have to do that when American propaganda tries to convince everyone Iranians are "animals".
I actually don't know why KLB shouldn't be considered. I welcome an example.
I've been a little surprised at the use of miles for everything. Did we do that in Apollo, too?
The rhetoric is of a holy war. Humanists and secular folks in the US must reject this entire deadly enterprise, strongly.
An image of the entire Earth, with Northern Africa and the North Pole visible at the lower left. It looks like daytime but it is actually illuminated by moonlight. There’s a bright arc along the lower right where the sun is coming through from behind. There’s a bright dot on the lower right (Venus) and a glow (zodiacal light). A few stars can be seen in the dark beyond the Earth.

The whole-Earth-at-night photo from the #Artemis II mission was brighter than many expected. That was mostly due to camera settings; here’s another pic taken just before with diff settings. Digital photography is always subjective—even before processing! (HT @swapnakrishna.com @jasonc0.bsky.social)
58 years ago today, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Georgia’s greatest son, was taken from us in a violent act of hate.
His legacy lives on in the work we do to build his beloved community and to bend the moral arc of the universe towards justice.
That's home. That's us.
This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.
Taken after their translunar injection burn, there are aurorae at top right and lower left, and zodiacal light at lower right.

I don’t want to alarm anyone but I’m hearing reports that the Artemis II crew are already showing symptoms of Moon Mania. This suggests the “insanity field” around the Moon may have grown stronger since the 1960s. God help the crew if that’s the case
I own this shirt and it rocks
"Rowling [clearly] thinks attacking transgender people via the legal system is a worthwhile cause and a good use of her vast personal fortune. [...] There's no way to watch this show without supporting Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she's inflicting on a vulnerable minority."

Their show further changed the way I see my hometown Olympics and the complexity of sex and gender. It's The Way to understand this stuff such that you can see this latest change and be confidently disappointed.
Reo did the award-winning, decade-long work so that we can understand the winding, inequitable tale of sex testing in sport for ourselves. Their understanding and positions on these issues are my go-to.
OpenAI is winding down Sora, the video generation app it launched to much fanfare last year that signaled a bigger push into creative tools and social media.
OpenAI is shuttering the standalone app to focus on other priorities, the company said.
Thinking about the spa shootings that took place down the street from me 5 years ago today, as well as in Cherokee County. Thinking about Asian hate and emboldened white men committing violence, and how it hasn't stopped. #atl

Great article. This matches discussions about the game I heard from @remapradio.bsky.social. If we assume young male gaze is prioritized, it explains these choices about women. It's disappointing and all too familiar.
@kristaldixon.bsky.social I had never thought about backing in to park much, but in this tight lot in Buckhead, it's real. More research needed!! #atl

Thank you @thomaswheatley.bsky.social for sharing this in Axios #Atlanta today. This image stopped me in my tracks.

In addition, did Target meaningfully reverse its bow-to-Trump policies? I don't intend to return until I hear something real.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
