Oh!!! Now that you’ve pointed it out, I just noticed the parallel 😳💦 my original intention was that Josuke was thinking of being “held” by Rohan’s gaze, but yes! The power dynamic shift is definitely there now that I’m thinking about it 🤔

Aw thank you so much!! And yes, you are spot on as always 😭💯 I think as someone so very adamant in observing the “reality” of things, Rohan could get tripped up *experiencing* things for himself (especially when strong emotions are involved - i.e. having someone he could lose 👀)

Also the ending hints at Josuke getting hurt since he can’t heal himself, but Rohan would 100% patch him up afterward (saying he doesn’t want blood on his table etc etc, of course.)
