Today, I joined colleagues and conservationists from Texas, led by @doggett.house.gov, to voice our opposition to the border wall in Big Bend National Park. Texans across the state and across the political spectrum oppose this terrible plan.

With refunds falling 65% short of what President Trump and Congressional Republicans promised, the failures of the “Big Beautiful Bill” — failure to lower costs and a failure to prioritize the needs of the majority of Americans — mean that life is more expensive for people across the country. I join neighbors and people across the country who are relieved that Annie Ramos, a Houston college student just married to a U.S. Army staff sergeant preparing for deployment, was finally released from ICE custody. [1/2]

This isn't just a reorganization of the U.S. Forest Service. It's a dismantling of the agency—an agency that not only provides access to our public lands but protects against wildfires and prevents ecological disasters.

President Trump has done so much to hinder the important work of the Title X program, from freezing its funding to firing the civil servants who administer it. Congress must support Title X, which is why I led the effort to increase its funding this year.

Equality Caucus slams SCOTUS decision ruling against conversion therapy bans

If Republicans know negotiations remain ongoing and if they truly cared about shutdown impacts, they’d move with Democrats to fund FEMA, TSA, cybersecurity, Secret Service & Coast Guard.
