LRP I played the OG after AC came out and noted the discrepancy, it was in fan spaces too and drove me a little crazy. I'm not the biggest fan of some of the stuff they're doing w the remake but the fact that she gets to swear on screen is excellent, lol.

it's remarkable the way this single shot totally rehabilitated Aerith's image after like two straight decades of her being relegated to "Girl who stands in a void going 🙏" in every other piece of FF7 material
