@nrgseries.bsky.social ran a really great event today, 7 rounds in less than 7 hours is impressive. Staff was all lovely to interact with.
brown sugar is literally best??
Magus is certainly more helpful vs Belcher but that matchup is probably favored already enough that it's a less relevant point
any large reason not to look at magus of the moon over harbinger? Also a wizard, and it's easier to cast with saga.
Well I'm assuming for some of the matchups you want Celestial Purge, Binding can be bounced or destroyed.
4 RC top 8s and 3 RC finals appearances for Sanctum this season
WOTC has not afaik (CMIIW!) said anything about how they plan to support inroads to the game for marginalized players, but it's still abundantly clear that having these pushes the game forward, makes it more competitive & better
once at a PTQ I was playing a list with 1 Meddling Mage main because, I was a teenager and loved Meddling Mage. Faeries opp mulls to 5 game 1, I'm OTP, slam Meddling Mage on 2 naming Bitterblossom. Their mull to 5 was 3 Bitterblossom 2 Lands and they only drew air.

But, I am recognizing I spoke out of a place of frustration for a lot of things that surround what was said, and could have approached all of my intent and criticism in a much different way.
I think running vocal challenger is good for the people in the area, but doesn't get the politician to actually do anything differently it just creates a space where a challenger can gain footing, but it doesn't do anything to change incumbent policy.
I apologize for being so harsh if you truly are unaware that what you suggested has been a talking point for a long time without going anywhere. But it's hard to see people spin their wheels and advocate for working within a system that is meant to keep us down while everything burns around it.
The purpose of a system is what it does.
The recipe for stagnation is thinking our broken system can be fixed by constantly trying the same things over and over again. Your suggestion has been touted as a way for reform for a long time and has never gotten anywhere. It's been tried. A lot.
