Yeah I agree, it feels like they over committed and burned through their resources too quickly. Yeah, if they can keep a digital scene alive I could see the game having a revival.

Really sad news. I hope there is some way to continue Altered in some fashion. The game is too good.
One of my favorites
I want this card so much! Its pincers grip the fabric of reality.

Managed to save Sage, the giant turtle, in Leviathan Wilds. Really loving this game. It has so many things I like, including spatial puzzles and action efficiency.
Excited to share a super cool game by a great collaborator of mine, Andrew Conniff: Thieves of Bandervon.
It’s part of the 2025 Roll & Write Game Contest: boardgamegeek.com/thread/35851...

Looks great
Some fresh Singularity Deck art:
Some more work in progress Singularity Deck art, including a cavalier, mermaid, and swamp monster. #BoardGameArt
Almost have a full version of the Singularity Box shelf printed. Working on the rough draft for the front and back of the drawers. www.singularity.games/other-projec...
Work in progress yeti art
Last nights work-in-progress art for the Singularity Deck saltires suit monster card: a yeti. The land art for this suit is a tundra so I wanted an icy monster, but wanted to differentiate it from the oval suit's bigfoot. It kind of gives me a giant scary hamster vibe. #boardgameart
Yeah, probably not worth sinking any more time into. The beautiful thing about games is there are plenty more that will be more to your tastes. What is tough about boardgames though is you have to invest a lot of time into one before learning it's not for you.
I don't have blood on the clocktower, but I did back the deluxe edition of feed the kraken, and I just don't know when I'll ever have enough people to play it. I do think I'm better at prioritizing the likelihood that I'll play a game over the concept or production when buying new games now.
If you do want to give it a second chance (although of course all good if you feel like you're done with it) I found this video helpful youtu.be/__9zeZXPpr8?...
I'm on the second mission and I agree that it's a lot more involved and unintuitive than folks suggest. I like the vibes though.
Excited to show of the (nearly) finished Cavalier ranks for the Singularity Deck!

New art/game/3D printing workshop! So much more space than the closet I was using before that I lovingly called "the garage." Now we're set up in a real garage.
Playing Santorini Riddle of the Sphinx which has been a ton of fun. It's a great production by @roxley.bsky.social and an excellent remix/expansion for one of my favorite games. #Boardgames
Some work-in-progress art for the new Singularity Deck cavalier cards.
Game dev hot take: your initial idea is probably at least 2-3x bigger than it needs to be, and this immediate overscoping is what keeps so many games from making it through the prototype phase.
Learn how to design the least to do the most, and add from there after you make your proof of concept.
You're reminding me that I really need to paint my chasmfiend.
Working my way through Season 3 of Final Girl. Alas, I lost to the Eyeless. #BoardGames #FinalGirl
A Juneteenth graphic with Our Family Plays Games' logo at the top, and "Happy Juneteenth 2025" written at the bottom in bold letters and featuring the Juneteenth colors of red, yellow, green, and black, as well as some white for visibility. On the left side of the image is a pattern in the Juneteenth colors styled after traditional African print designs, and on the right side of the image are snippets of a flag in the Juneteenth colors.
Happy Juneteenth, OFPG fam!
May this day remind us all of the importance of freedom, equality, and fighting for what's right.
...although the fight still hasn't ended, it's also important to hold fast and never give up! Have a great day! #boardgames #juneteenth
Thanks to Altered Corner for answering a few questions from yours truly! A lot of great discussion.
Finally put my Muna Scout card on display from the @alteredtcg.bsky.social Trial by Frost Tumult Championship. I #3Dprinted a display stand to help showcase it on the shelf. I'm still trying trying to figure out the best way to display my playmat. Shout out to all the Muna players.
I've previously designed #3Dprinted boxes compatible with the Bitbox Game Storage System. After many requests, I'm working on recreating the rest of the system including the shelf and inserts. I'm about 3 prototypes in. I'll post more info to the patreon soon.

Singularity Deck playing cards. Healer suits
Close to wrapping up the new Singularity Deck ranks for the Earth Suits. Here are the mostly done Healer cards. I'm thinking of moving the plague doctor to the Hourglass suit, since I think that might fit a little better.
Such a great game. I need to play it more.
No kings.
