I saw a live birthed harbor seal pup for the first time in my life today. I thought it would be horrifying because I have a weak stomach, but it turned to UNGODLY CUTE very fast!

But Iām kind of amazed my little

According to Dragon Con, 110 students followed me out of the classroom today to sing in Ghor in the halls. Goosebumps!

Back to my own sewing project, which absolutely might come out hideous, but at least will be made out of somewhat logical materials and not make me feel like Iām being forced to cosplay as the grocery bag of grocery bags under my parentsā kitchen sink.
Horrific thought: Are theyā¦ making these women make their own concert outfits at home? Surely not, but now that Iāve said it, I canāt get away from the idea.
Would explain the wildly varying hems, and why none of these stretchy-looking dresses seems to have met a serger.
but then why literally underline all the chests? Whyyyyy?
But at least they all have perfectly matching pearl necklaces (that look like cheap party favors against the white, and are the perfect length to sit weirdly and highlight creases).
But back to the snark, WHY MAKE THE GIANT SLEEVES SO SHORT?! Now everyoneās mix of Apple watches and hair elastics is just highlighted against the white, they have to worry about what their hands are doing, and the varying sleeve length is yet another way to miss cohesiveness by a mile. Whyyyyyyyy.

Oh NO. I didnāt think these could possibly get worse, but the design from the side is just plain mean.
Thereās no attempt to look uniform on the diversity of body types, and the mess of tents/awnings/tarps REALLY draws the eyeā¦ oddly.
Now I just feel bad, wearing this would make me feel terrible.
A group of people in their aforementioned dresses get cheerfully out of a golf cart on the Temple Square grounds. The full outfit is visible, with white skirts reaching almost to the ground and closed-toed black shoes sticking out.
Wearing flimsy white lace-trimmed camisoles pulled way down over the hips under every single shirt was very much What The Cool Modest Girls of Utah did in the 2000s, so I canāt say theyāre failing at brand recognition here.
But THOSE HEMS. And the (almost?) matching skirts! Most cursed layer cakes.
