White Nationalists aka Evangelicals hate Catholics
My dad loved airplanes, too. He worked on them in Viet Nam. He’d grab a six pack & I’d get a Yoo-hoo and we’d drive out to the airport and watch the planes take off for hours, just sitting and talking. Some of my favorite memories of him.
For sure. Coolest uncle ever. I always loved airplanes, he knew this, & even considered attending the Air Force Academy, but I majored in English instead like a moron.
He went through Space Shuttle training, but was passed over for the fateful Challenger mission. He knew everyone on that flight.
I lived near TinkerAFB in OKC. He came to visit once & took me on base for my birthday. He’d talked to some guys & I got to climb up & sit in the cockpit of an F-15 that was in for repairs. I even got to play with the tech a little as he sat in back playing weapons officer. Best day ever.
My uncle was a test pilot at Edwards in the 70s and 80s. He would tell me how they’d fly from Palmdale to DC in about 2 1/2 hours. Home by lunch time. After he retired, he designed the cockpit for the F-35. He was so cool.
“Land-based flight.”
These people are too stupid to be allowed to tie their own shoes.
They talk like insane asylum patients from the 19th century who scrawl manifestos on the wall in their own shit.
I would like to wish everyone a wonderful day except the anti-vaxxers from up North who came to MX for vacation & gave me the flu the day before my scheduled interview at immigration to become a permanent resident. A hearty fuck you, plague rats.

Definitely. Billy Wilder nailed Hollywood’s balls to the concrete in that film.
I’m always struck by the tomb-like atmosphere of her mansion vs when Joe sneaks out to party w his friends. It’s almost a gothic-noir.
Every frame of that film is perfection.
I hate them all until the end of time because they ruined our country and stole our futures.
One of the great joys of sharing our favorite films with friends and family is seeing it for the first time again through their eyes.
My nephew thought Alien was boring lol. So I showed him the sequel. He loved it. 😊
Oh, I love this film. Kevin Costner has never been more handsome. And a great, but well-earned twist.
Auntie Mame (Rosalind Russell version) is my favorite film, so I would love to experience it again for the first time.
After that, maybe The Godfather or Wizard of Oz. But I think maybe Oz should be seen for the 1st time with the eyes of a child.

I always forget how deliciously cynical it is.
Sunset Boulevard never disappoints. I love Peggy Sue, as well.
I just call it the sterilizer and take the optimism out of it.
I grew up listening to original cast albums w my grandfather. I still know every song from “Annie Get Your Gun” by heart.

My grandfather loved musicals. He had original cast albums that were ancient. I loved listening to them with him. Camelot was a favorite, especially “If Ever I Would Leave You.” Still chokes me up when I hear it now that he’s gone.
I knew Bebe was my dog when she came into a house for the 1st time in her life, my house, jumped on the bed and promptly pissed all over over it. I was like, “Yeah, girl. Been there.”
She didn’t know better and I was like, “Yeah, girl. Been there.”
Every fucking day.
Sitting while Black. Filming while Black. Eating while Black. Being Black while Black.
Sybil Ludington (1761–1839) is the 16-yr old Revolutionary figure famed for a 40-mile, all-night horseback ride on April 26, 1777, to rally militia against British forces in New York. Called the "female Paul Revere," she rode twice the distance of Revere's 1775 ride through rain to alert soldiers
The pissed-soaked kind of pants? Trendy in DC these days.
