I went from MF to Visual Science (Carmaggeddon remake), to Rock Star North (GTA IV), to Pandemic (Batman), to THQ (Avengers) to Krome (StarWars clone wars) to Sega (Olympics then Castle of Illusion), None of them had a god damn clue what they were doing, nobody knows what they are doing!

Back in populous days at Bullfrog we theorized it was succesful because of the urge to tidy up, to turn the chaos into order, flattening out all the bumpy ground into a nice floor.

have completed challenge mode a few times since but only increased my high score a tiny bit each time.

Tried the next difficulty, way too hard..

died on the final boss final stage. Obviously maintained a very high multiplier throughout, even spent 1M on 2 shields.

One thing I often think about is that FTL could have come out on the amiga/ST.

Back to challenge mode I go!

am back on no 1 in the office leaderboard. with 9.2M but it was in easy mode, allthough easy mode has a mult cap that makes breaking 9m quite hard

I dont think theres any weird RNG combos..
Best you can hope is to get +3 missiles and +100% glimmer collection distance early on..

oh no..

Sometimes I overshoot the missile and have to get a blaster, the main thing is using the strikes at every oppertunity.
I upgrade missiles whenever I can, but also like seeker blaster, and shield zapper, I like laser drones but can find them distracting

I get 3 speeds, so I can nip about and collect more glimmer, then its a missile to help with bosses, then a few strikes, then its all in on missile, picking up any shields as and when I run out.

I have 2.66 M in challenge mode so close..

weird it doesnt have different leaderboards for different difficulties..

Evoids on steam gets a wishlist spike on day 1 of next fest. thats like a 30 fold increase from my daily average of 1 :)

Pretty sure I maxed out Utopia must fall or was close to it. Well I can't see me beating this score again..
