I work in commercial banking doing consultative sales so the answer to this is... so much!

My job has given me a much more realistic view of the business world, I've gotten better at sales pitches, and lots of zeroes don't scare me. (I know what they realistically translate to.)

I've got about 60 pages and am looking for early readers.

I'm seconding on immaculate vibes. I do love me some adult ATLA and House of the Dragon.

It's got family trauma, apotheosis via sex, some light bdsm, and tentacles. 😅

My favorite resource is The Shit No One Tells You About Writing podcast with CeCe Lyra, Bianca Marais, and Carly Watters.

The only technique I've internalized is Slap, Slap, Kiss. I won't tell you how many hours I spent watching Moonlighting and 40s/50s romcoms to make it happen.
