March has been one of the most challenging months of my life. I nearly lost one dog, then the same week lost the other one unexpectedly. I spent most of the month preparing for a trial, and I don't know how long it'll be until I know the result. But I'm ready for what comes next.

Today I had to make a rule about twerking. Not due to my teen, but my ten year old. It was getting uncontrollable. We couldn't make it through a meal without a half dozen twerking breaks at least. Twerking is now banned in the dining room and by permission only in the kitchen.

I have all these wonderful roguelikes and epic RPGs and amazing books to spend time on. But each night, I find myself grinding in Toontown Rewritten alongside my partner and my son. The pure joy of co-op turn based battling should be studied.

I spent most of my holiday with family and redecorating/cleaning the whole house, but I got a bit more gaming time than I expected as well! The biggest standout is Lost Eidolons Veil of the Witch, which is basically rogue-like Fire Emblem and speaks to me on a fundamental level.

I am so, so excited to get to DS9. The new Voyager game kinda kicked this off, but man I've got a new appreciation for the franchise and am gonna ride this hyper fixation for all it's worth.

I've been watching some Star Trek TNG lately. Star Trek was one of my brother's favorite shows, and a few weeks back I kinda took it on as a way to connect. I'm three seasons in and I enjoy it so much more now than I have before. I think part of me misses somewhat episodic TV.
