I can replicate this filter. Every time I take off my spectacles, everything goes impressionist. This picture made me adjust my reading glasses

Mother of mine....
I met an ex soldier who had been invalided out of Afghanistan. He said he had never eaten so well in his life as when he was in the army. The soldiers eating this diet are going to be marching carrying 50kg of kit. This is how you get mutinies.
When I was 18 I did a bit of RAF cadet training. (I was more of a space cadet at heart, but I liked the camping). We got great food. Tinned sponge puddings, tinned cheese and these foil wrapped packs of cookies which apparently, with water, provided a complete human diet. I pocketed loads of them.

This is important news which needs to be widely shared.
I have two medical thermometers. The red one is for human oral use and the blue one has been in the rectum of a sick goat...or was it the other way round?
The propaganda war was happening in 1877. However, I have met Russians passionately opposed to their government, especially among those who left, or who are seriously planning to. But I agree, every European country is within a few percent of electing a far right Putinist government.
Guard the John Seymour book well. I've had 3 copies of his self sufficiency guide because the first 2 were borrowed and never returned. He was a great writer
Rock and roll had already done all the other taboos
People attacking "elites" are rarely offering real system change. It seems like a revolutionary strategy to become the new elite without changing the system. Systems can and do change. Change will be resisted by people doing well out of the system and encouraged by those suffering under it
I grit my teeth when I hear the term "elites", it often augers a load of crypto fascist conspirababble. There is wealth inequality and class. The idea that a fixed group of people control everything isn't helpful. Sell enough coke, kiss the right a$$es you could join the ruling class.Still wrong tho
The taxpayer still pays for everything, but now the people running it are unaccountable.
Yes,I'm a paid up member. Now where did I leave my membership card?

Back when there were only 6 movies I did this as a weekend binge watch with a drinking game: drink every time there's a tremor in the force, someone has a bad feeling about something, someone loses a body part, Darth Vader fails to recognise one of his kids etc.
No, it's a funny ezine for neuro divergent people
Have you manifested any weird mutant abilities yet? They tend to start age 13
Bryony Noem never had a problem with that.
IMO he was a faith healer and religious cult leader doing the things faith healers and religious cult leaders do nowadays. But boy! Organised religion has built some colossal, shaky sandcastles on those foundations
An extremely well composed professional photo from a very popular movie from 30 years ago. It's not a still. Someone captured two highly paid actors relaxing in costume on set even though they never shared a scene, a beautiful fluke-but this photo isn't famous. You've never seen it before. Clank
edit: Wikipedia copy pasta:
In 2 Samuel 21, verse 19, the Hebrew Bible tells how Goliath was killed by "Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, the Bethlehemite". The fourth-century BC 1 Chronicle 20:5 explains the second Goliath by saying that Elhanan "slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath",
But the Goliath story did get retconned: in some versions he's got an identical twin who we never heard about before, and that was who died one time. Talk about lazy storytelling!
youtu.be/cVythOLVvfc?... Serious irony here. I'm not absolutely sure he's really Christian, but his wtf attitude to the holy sites ( or more accurately, the dystopia surrounding them) is compelling.
I know the literal meaning of canon. I am seeing a lot of posts drawing comparisons with (say) the marvel universe. There are certainly parallels. I mean, like Goliath dying twice. Marvel characters die and come back to life way more often than biblical ones though.
The new testament was copied repeatedly by semi literate monks and full of copy errors. The Tanakh is still badly in need of an edit though. It has at least 3 different authors and is contradictory in places. It was finalised 800-200BC, so not as old as it pretends. Abraham's camels are a giveaway
