It's actually been a ton of fun.

It is, along with drawing, been my favourite hobby for a long time.

It just got. Stuck for a while. 'Cos I kept writing the same darn story. No longer!

Make stuff! Make your own stuff! Don’t wait for permission or a giant kickstarter, just do it. I’ve gotten more creative fulfillment from making stupid lil cartoons I only think are funny than anything else I’ve worked on. Idk man just do it stop making excuses!

Read Lord of the Rings back when I was about 12 (whoah long time ago.) I'd be lying if I understood everything some bits definitely confused me but some of those characters and places stuck with me so vividly!

Fanworks and fanart are AWESOME but your own stuff can be so deeply personal, ya know? I don't mean in a deep way. I mean, like, your closeness to your own characters and stories can really make you create some super cool stuff.

To start things off I guess I recently read Neon Genesis Evangelion and it ended up being my entire motivation for getting properly back to producing my own stuff rather than fanworks. You know. Average reaction to a piece of media.
