Somehow, you made a sequel that’s not just as good as original but for me in ways surpasses the original. Y’all did a great job!

Last night @crobertcargill.bsky.social spoke at ACC Rio Grande about his career, writing for feature films and fiction, and other essential subjects for fans of both. Only enhancement would’ve been a cigar and some whiskey. Viewing rec: double feature of Resolution and Sinister.

Feels like somehow movies released in the last 12-15 months have had more resonance for real life than I'm used to. Sometimes in historic ways too. But Conclave snuck up on me and it's one of my favorites of last few months.

Is the Sinister 2 ep only in Patreon or did I miss it in the civilian feed?

Sonic 3 didn’t have to be as good as I found it to be.

Goofy, fun, and entertaining as all get out. Jim Carrey should be nominated for something important. So should the voice actors.

I love that it reminds me of The Crow '94.

I remember when ER ‘94 started and starred Clooney, I did a double take because I swore there was another show with him called ER. Family were all Gould fans, so we watched. Also had pre-Seinfeld Jason Alexander and post-Grease 2 Pam Adlon (nee Segall)

I watched a great Argentinian-Mexican occult conspiracy thriller called HISTORY OF THE OCCULT (2020) on Tubi today. I've seen it before but now it's a go-to movie for any occasion where I can either watch intently or have as noise while I write. It has solid performances and drips atmosphere. 9/10

For me, it’s a toss up between 28 Days Later and Savageland. Some argue that Savageland it’s technically zombies rather ghouls, but I’m not splitting hairs on that one. The former rejuvenated the genre for me and the latter is a timely story with some truly terrifying moments that I still think of.

That’s just the quantum metadata refreshing while we start our transition into the NEXT darkest timeline. No need to panic.

I'm sorry for your loss. He was a genre giant as far as I'm concerned. Added to and sometimes elevated whatever he was starring in. He will be missed greatly.
