Don't you feel stupid sometimes spending time coding an app if instead you can just wait 6 months and one shot it with a new model?

Hi. I usually cross post with Buffer, but sometimes it breaks :)

- your PMs and principals are too busy (re)discovering the joy of producing 10k LOC, so they don't care if the architecture is wrong, so they blindly LGTM it

And
- your senior devs stopped thinking
- instead they "consult" Claude on making a bunch of strategic decisions; they ask the PM/principal to approve the new architecture

- a junior who never had a chance to learn about architecture or read the docs can't really explain what was wrong, so they blindly LGTM it

here's how your company is rotting right this moment:

- your senior devs stopped writing code
- they ask Claude to generate it, they check that it mostly works, they ask a junior to approve the new PR

You'd think they'll measure the success of AI by the amount of SNP500 growth, but instead they are measuring it by the amount of layoffs in the tech sector 🤔

Not gonna lie, I'm curious what my "1M YouTube subscribers" look could have been vs my current 1k subscribers style 😂

Kind of crazy that everyone is coding right now with just "fix it" and "no, it didn't work" and no one did a proper funeral for what is essentially a death of prompt engineering 🤷

Be prepared to see huskification of humans that delegate all thinking and decision making to AI chat bots and act basically as meat extension of AI auto complete loops

The feeling that I had all the time before LLMs: well, I could build this as a program, but I don't have time to make it good

I still have that feeling now with LLMs
