When you've got short fur like Juniper, a now 4 and a half month old Pit/Staffordshire mix, snuggling under blankets is the best way to spend the winter days. Especially when it's mom's heated blanket.

Now a whopping 30.2 lbs (when we adopted her, she was just about 10!!), Juniper is still the perfect blend of play buddy and snuggle buddy. Today I moved the couch ottoman into my office so she could chill much closer to me even though she doesn't fit on my lap anymore. 🥹
Shoutout to my incredible husband who, upon hearing I thinking having my period (always a best guess due to IUD) was all for going to the store this morning for chocolate and wine... and is now making fried chicken for dinner 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I'm getting ready for an overseas trip in 2 days- going to a 2NE1 concert with my sister- and have been getting packed, planned, nails, and my hair done! I actually got my hair dyed to a color I've always wanted! So that's awesome.

Juniper is getting HUGE. She's more than doubled in weight since her adoption and has learned come, sit, paw, down, no, and maybe also give (where she lets go of whatever she's holding, one of my favorites.) She's learning stay, off, and "gimme kiss" still.
Imogen, the 11 year old NOT AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD but rather Chihuaha/Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. Tri colored and approx 48lbs. Laying down on a black and white skull patterned blanket.

The fuzzbutts are doing great, clean bills of health for both! Immi, Miss Queen Chihuahua, is on regular heartworm meds finally, and is also still on that slow warm up for Juni. She still won't snuggle with the baby, and there's boundary setting snaps, but she's a good, caring big sister.
Going to be getting more political on here since my mental health around everything is settling again- it felt like I was just getting BOMBARDED with badnewsbadnewsbadnews and I couldn't process- but before we get reeeeeal political, quick life update!
