Gaza was already gone when the cackler and her senile boss bombed it to smithereens and she screamed “I’m speaking” at the protesters

The plan is to have a Democratic Party that doesn’t abet genocide. Last time bitch refused to budge when she needed our votes so we withheld ours accordingly. Simple moral test she failed completely.

Well, if AOC isn’t the nominee, I’ll enjoy tanking the corporate candidate that November (just like we did with pro-genocide Kamala). Muah!

Great man. Endorsed Bernie in 2020!

I think they might have better luck spending two thousand dollars holding a press conference where they detail who made the key decisions to collaborate with the Trump administration, how and when they were fired, and explaining what would stop that from happening again.

We’ll see what happens. Regardless, the superior candidate has been chosen. :)

Don’t I wish! We got two Trump terms due to one segment of the party backing Hillary and Joe in the primaries (followed by an unworthy VP to appease them after their turnout dropped BIG time between the 2012 and 2016 general elections). The less informed should stay home in 2028.

Well, if they show up in lower numbers than the 2022 midterms share, then, yes, they should be blamed.

Agreed. The unwillingness of black voters to look beyond skin color was textbook racism in this primary race. Whereas the rest voted based on the issues.

Agreed. We can’t fall for that dumb narrative. We need to TRY which is why I support AOC in 2028 and I’m glad that you don’t buy anybody dismissing her because she’s a woman of color. We’re on the same page.

Yep. Kind of like how we now have a second Trump term because the candidate who flamed out in 2020 was appointed as VP.

The numbers show a clear dividing line between an informed,multi-racial, working class base and those who simply vote based on skin color. Thankfully the former prevailed and now Texas is in play.

It needs to be Schlossberg because politics is genetic

Hmm. How about ONLY fan ballots count but the fan ballots are given out to like just 1500 inductees/music industry people? I think I just solved it!

1 month ago 1 0 0 0

We’d be looking at the same Hall inductee list as now, just with Phish and, possibly, Fela Kuti as inductees.

I just don’t understand it. If we’re arguing that the committee’s choices are Hall-worthy, then what’s really the issue? To me, it’s more of an indictment of the nominating committee by the Rock Hall (“Sometimes are members do dumb shit, so let’s have some safety rails to prevent a bad inductee”)

1 month ago 0 0 1 0

If Nom Com is allowed to open the gates to however many hopefuls each year (which means the Hall has already consented to the possibility of induction for each of those names), then what’s the harm of those with a ballot voting for whatever reasons they please + fan voters choosing one inductee?

1 month ago 0 0 1 0

Why isn’t it just a 1st place in the fan vote gets inducted no matter what? And why are actual voters seeing a screen explaining that they should take voting real seriously? It’s like the Hall doesn’t trust its own nominating commitee.

Therein lies the dumb crudity of identity politics

in 2028 Pete and Gavin are both going to have identical coalitions of online white liberals with monthly auto-donations to actblue and no one else

newsom also raised the cannabis excise tax in california then rolled it back a couple months later. gavin newsom is an incredibly stupid person, on top of being a transphobe and a bigot. i will never vote for gavin newsom and if he's the nominee in 2028 the dems will face another huge loss.

this should be the end of the Gavin Newsom 2028 discussion. the party has spoken, full stop

The Dems always pull this shit where they narrowly kill a bill. The reality is that if 60+ Democrats were required to kill this, then you would have seen that many do so. Manchin/Sinema provided cover for at least another half-dozen Dem Senators.

“If Kamala won…”

Buddy, Dems just voted in support of Trump’s bull shit

Two sides of the same fuckin coin

Controlled opposition is no opposition

And yes, you’re a fucking moron if you think our politicians don’t do whatever the corporate paymakers tell them. That’s the whole point of buying influence.

Most Democrat voters are NOT on board with Israel though and basically zero of them under the age of 60 if you check the polls. It’s now toxic to associate with them and we already see Gavin/Pete/Kamala trying to backtrack on previous support

1 month ago 0 0 1 0

There’s a lot of parallels there with Kamala and you may remember Kamala’s “big moment” in 2020 being attempting to call Biden a racist, lol.

So Jasmine got outflanked in electability, policy and progressive credentials. All that was left was Black Vagina and her having made racial remarks about Latinos and race-baited Talarico with a lying smear campaign. Good riddance!

If anything, the split here shows the black vote is still way too focused on identity politics whereas the more informed voters chose the person with better statewide/independent numbers, more policy and a commitment to not take PAC money or fund Israel.

He won younger black voters in 2020, narrowly losing black voters under 50 overall to Biden by just a 45-42 margin in CNN Super Tuesday exit polls.

AGE was Bernie’s issue. Polled at 5th place, single digits, with 60+ AFTER winning Nevada. Luckily, we’ve had six years of such people, um, “moving“
