I really wish Jungians would branch out beyond Greek myth for the archetypes. There are SO MANY interesting mythologies full of often more helpful archetypes that can also bring a wide variety of cultures into the conversation. I find the Greek myths really limited.

The MAJORITY of what we've gained in life expectancy is in not losing children to disease. (Which the anti-vaxers will undo if they get their way.) We've increased ADULT life expectancy as well but not nearly as much as by wiping out *most* childhood death.

It is almost never taught properly. Basically if you didn't die in childhood (and outside of say the plague years) women who survived childbirth had pretty good odds of living into old age. Men who didn't die via "misfortune" (usually war) ALSO had good odds of living to old age. It's maddening!

All adults need to be required to go back and relearn what an AVERAGE is for Pete sake.
