The Lung Cancer team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre have won a national HSJ award in partnership with Roche for their work demonstrating the benefits of giving patients an immunotherapy treatment subcutaneously (injected under the skin) instead of intravenously (into a vein).

Prof Maughan, Chair of Oncology at the University of Liverpool, takes over from Prof Christian Ottensmeier in overseeing clinical trials and other studies.
