Lung Cancer team win national award for immunotherapy work The Lung Cancer team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and Roche have won a HSJ Partnership Award 2026 for their work demonstrating the real-world benefits of administering an immunotherapy treatment subcutaneously (under the skin) rather than intravenously (into a vein). They won the award for the best contribution to improving efficiency.

Patricia and Rosie's story: Hotline and urgent cancer care services helping people avoid A&E :: The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Patricia Curtis, from Wirral, and her family member Rosie Davies have used The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre's Hotline service to access specialist advice when Patricia has become very unwell. The Hotline team have been able to help Patricia avoid going to A&E through their links with community health teams and other services outside hospital as well as our own Clinical Decisions Unit.
