I think the key to the Mystical Archives look is the abstraction and symbolism of the piece, and a sort of reverence to honor the spell being cast! Geometry being used compositionally but not literally! :)

Genuinely surprised by how much I'm enjoying this game - I'm not a PvP enjoyer, but the ART was so appealing I decided I'd buy it and give it a go, endure the game to experience the art kinda thing (I did the same with soulsborne games).
