Surely your interpreting experience honed one vital skill you can call upon in situations when you don’t know how to convey something, a bead of sweat has started to form on your forehead, your heart rate elevates, and you’re already lagging behind…. Just fingerspell it 😝 (Bad joke, I know!)

Very proud of mum being awarded the BDA’s Francis Maginn award for exceptional service to the Deaf/BSL community. She’s flown under the radar for so long, worked with so many children & adults in Scotland without seeking much - if any! - recognition ♥️
