Mark your calendars: the next edition of the NITS workshop will take place in Brussels on Friday 22 May 2026 and will be hosted by TRADITAL at ULB! Calls for abstracts and best MA thesis award will be out soon, so keep an eye out on your mailbox, on the NITS website or on this page.

The next NITS workshop, taking place in May 2026 is organised by Damien Hansen and the TRADITAL team (tradital.ltc.ulb.be) and will be hosted by Université libre de Bruxelles!

The NITS 2025 best master thesis award was presented to Lotte van Eupen for her thesis with title "How do novice translators deal with competing norms? A case study of Dutch novice medical translators, risk management and the negotiation of translation norms."!
