This Thanksgiving let's acknowledge Kobayshi et al.'s findings: turkeys can act as bridges for influenza across avian species that are well insulated from each other. Suddenly, TurDuckEn has a much more sinister meaning.

Great letter to the editor in today’s NYTimes by #HudFreeze. HUD’s right. “You can’t shrink wrap science. It doesn’t revive well….” Hopefully those who are taking credit for falling grocery prices will appreciate that smart science has a limited shelf life. Thanks Hud. #glycotime #glygen
Great day on Capitol Hill today talking to Georgia and California legislators about the impact of federally funded science. Thanks to FASEB for organizing. Hud Freeze and I spread the good word about glycoscience as best we could.
Just finished watching this @glygen.bsky.social webinar by @elisafadda.bsky.social (www.youtube.com/watch?v=xonQ...) and I must say GlycoShape and Re-Glyco looks like fantastic and easily accessible tools to visualize and explore protein glycosylation and glycans as 3D structures.

I'll be giving a talk on Tue about one of my 🔝 fav topics (besides cats). In the meantime, 1) select your fav glycoprotein PDB/AF or own and 2) try to rebuild its glycans with GlycoShape.org 😊 I promise, it's better than Wordle and the results will 🤯😎
Thanks Amulya, please add me.
Cheers,
