Does Australia normally let those accused of murdering multiple people out on bail because it might take a long time to get to trial? Or is this a courtesy just extended to those who kill foreigners?
In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry, and been widely regarded as a bad move.
While I was in Melbourne, I went to 3 shops. 2 Japanese. 1 was DAISO. As usual, I found all sorts of things to fix small inconveniences round the house that never made it onto a to do list coz I didn't know there was a $3.30 solution. If it weren't 4 all the plastic packaging DAISO would be heaven!
"Peaceful protest is indispensable". Court strikes down Chris Minns illegitimate anti-protest laws.

Australians living in poverty.
Schools and hospitals relying on charity for required equipment.
Our infrastructure is failing.
But there's always plenty of money for defence - but they can't tell us who we are fighting against??? #npc #auspol
This village uses its solar income on free communal lunches, buses and other communal efforts.βIf you divide money as individual income, people feel disconnected. People who didnβt know each other for years now get to know each other within daysβ
I love everything about this.
If Trump REALLY wanted to show Australia how upset he is with use heβd go ahead and tear up the AUKUS agreement. Thatβd show us! #auspol
The conflict in the Middle East is disrupting more than oil marketsβit is threatening the global food supply. WCK founder JosΓ© AndrΓ©s spoke with The Guardian on the potential collapse of global fertilizer trade and the impact on food access. (1/2)
I think one of the hardest realisations Iβve had is having to accept just how much some people enjoy seeing other people suffer.
Paul Keating does not hold back in response to Angus Taylor new immigration policy and Iβm so here for it. Reminds me of better times when we had PMs with the backbone to tell it like it is. Truly statesmen like & excellent & I encourage everyone to take a moment to read it ππΌ
This timeline feels like you are the captain in a cockpit of a huge plane flying through mountains and there are over 100 alarms triggered and, while the plane is stalling, the copilot is just smiling at his phone and telling you that he has plans for the weekend.
"The masters of war pretend not to know that it takes only a moment to destroy, yet a lifetime is often not enough to rebuild. They turn a blind eye to the fact that billions of dollars are spent on killing and devastation, yet the resources needed for healing, education and restoration are nowhere to be found." -Pope Leo XIV
Federal workers are asking what resistance actually looks like. We built this for you.
Our Resistance Menu is now live, with real, actionable ways to show up. This graphic is only a snapshot.

Fun fact: silica gel beads are found in many products to stop moisture ruining things. 1 gram of silica can have a surface area > 800 mΒ², able to hold up to 40 % of its mass in water (a standard singles tennis court is < 200 mΒ²)

A couple of people asked about my AirFanta 4Lite, and I met a woman in the lift who wasn't masked but said she wears one on public transport and was excited to meet someone with a FloMask and wanted to know whether it was worth the cost. I said definitely, and plugged the PrescientX Breathe too.
I really enjoyed my three days of union training. It was great meeting people from so many different organisations as well. Interestingly, the people who came to sit next to me, turned out to be epidemiologists. Neither was masked π€·ββοΈ yet both chose to sit next to someone who was (me).
Yes. It's the Swan Hill train, and lots of families who spent the day in Melbourne during school holidays. Train was 2/3 full on boarding, down to 1/3 or less by Castlemaine.
On the train - on an ACTUAL train, not a replacement bus, from Melbourne to Bendigo. It was touch and go for a bit because the train was nearly 30 minutes late. Air quality isn't great, but much better than the bus (coach) down.
Yes, we can see you. Not sure what to recommend though.
Update: dinner was amazing. A Malabar fish curry that was beautifully spiced and had left the most delicate and delightful tingle around my lips. Got both purifiers on high still (AF4L blowing directly into my face) and CO2 down to 800ppm.

On a related note, this is a VERY nice hotel room, or studio-suite, with TWO TVs and lots of power points. I am very much looking forward to using the spa bath at some point over the next few days.

Checked into my room forty minutes ago, unpacked and set up the AirFanta 3 Pro, turned it up as high as it will go, still wearing my FloMask Pro with particulate filter, SIPping tea through a straw. Airspot registers CO2 at 900ppm. Huge thanks to everyone who made this technology.
Iβm not interested in people claiming iconic healing powers. Itβs just a distraction.
Iβm interested in the everyday person that is wearing a respie, or well fitted mask, to resist the waves of disease. Thats the true power. Knowing you have a choice, and can make a difference.
