LET'S GO, VIRGINIA!!!
Posts by Evan Dorkin
Trump pressured Republican states to rig their electoral maps, because he saw a midterm disaster coming for his party. He knows they will lose big without rigged districts. Virginia can level the playing field and stop his newest scam tomorrow by voting YES for fair election maps. #VoteYesVirginia
Thanks, Fabian!
Yesh.
It was a big deal to me.
TY.! Tom was the best.
Day 20 of #FCFCoversLiteracy and we're over $9,000 in bids! Let's keep this rolling and get bids on everything and raise as much as we can for our friends at @literacyvolunteers.bsky.social on the way to Free Comic Book Day 2026!
Absolute ghouls.
A panel from The Eltingville Club #1, showing Bill Dickey in a messy, dirty, run down comic shop. It's the image that the late Tom Spurgeon used to run on The Comics Reporter whenever my birthday came around. My birthay never feels complete now that Tom is gone and I miss him very much.
It's still not a real birthday without The Comics Reporter noting it. #Tom
Yes, it's from that. I am very uncomfortable taking photos. I've tried smiling and I look like I'm addled.
TY!!
Another Broken Robot four-panel comic. Panel one is the Broken Robot title. Panel two has the Robot in a confessional with a priest. The Robot says "Bless me Father, for I am broken". Panel two, the Robot says to the unnerved priest, "I...I shouldn't be here, should I?". In the fourth panel the Broken Robot screams "WHOOP WHOOP!", scaring the priest.
The cover of the Nerd Inferno omnibus edition, collecting Milk & Cheese, Dork and The Eltingville CLub in a 648 page book. It will be available on April 28th.
NERD INFERNO is out on April 28th from @darkhorse.com.
Every day until then I'm posting something from the 648-pg goliathon. Today: Another Broken Robot Fun Strip. And a blatant Happy Birthday to Me plug for folks to preorder the book, or pick it up once it's out. It's a gift for both of us. #whoop
TY very much!
TY Ken!
Thank you! This is an old picture, btw, I have eaten way more junk than I should have since it was taken and have thinner hair. And this LCS (Comic Book Jones) is sadly no longer with us. Also, pre-horrors and normalized atrocities. Take me back, Clarence...
THnks for the HBD and the free plug!
TY!
TY, Kirk!
TY!
TY!
Thanks, Erik! Winky is being a good cat, i.e., not letting me type this or letting me eat.
Bars in Washington, DC had been struggling since Covid. So why are the city’s Democrats so eager to get rid of Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, and Jeanine Pirro?
Gamers! My friend Jodi Black of Pinnacle Entertainment Group and Legacy Game Tables is in a hospital ICU, on the list for a lung transplant, and she could use your help.

It looks the same to me, but that's the way it looks in the FF image it's an homage of. It looks like The Thing is whizzing, so, Bill follows suit.
!!!!!!!!
It's buried somewhere in the house. If it turns up I'll scan it or take a photo.
The splash page for THis Fan...This Monster, the penultimate Eltingville Club story. It shows Bill Dickey standing in the rain. The title lettering and image is an homage to the opening splash of The Fantastic Four number fifty-one.
NERD INFERNO is out on April 28th from @darkhorse.com.
Every day until then I'm posting something from the 648-pg brute. Today: I almost forgot to post something. Here's the splash page for This Fan...THis Monster, the penultimate Eltingville story. Homage to Kirby/Sinnott/Simek's FF #51 splash.
Proper cat behavior
Charlie is awesome
Winky the Pirate Girl, aka Winky the Pirate Cat. My bestest ever one eyed cat standing on a scanner in my studio and looking adorable.
Happy Winky Day!
Not to be confused with Winky Adoption Day.
Actually every day is Winky Day.
